Date Night in Downtown Fullerton — Escape Room + Dinner
Two people, a locked room, and a clock counting down. You’ll learn more about each other solving puzzles at Infinity Escape than you will over another movie-and-sushi date. And because we’re in the heart of Downtown Fullerton, dinner and drinks are three minutes away — no freeway back to the car, no awkward silences driving between spots.

Why escape rooms make dates work
First dates, anniversary dates, after-argument make-up dates — the dynamic is the same. You’re trying to show up, collaborate, and have fun, and most dates put the conversation on rails (dinner → movie → drive home). An escape room puts you side-by-side solving something, which is exactly how couples who last talk about each other: “we figured it out together.” Low stakes, high entertainment, zero phones.
Pick your vibe
The Magic Cottage — a cinematic mystery. Cozy, creative, story-driven. Right for: second through fifth date, anniversaries, or pairing with a romantic dinner.
The Zombie Lab — a horror-thriller. Right for: third+ date where you already know they can handle a scream, and you want an excuse to grab each other’s hand during a jump scare.
The perfect Downtown Fullerton date itinerary
- 6:00 PM — Early dinner at Matador Cantina (Mexican), Roscoe’s Famous Deli, or The Olde Ship (British pub) — all 2–3 minutes walk.
- 7:30 PM — Escape room at Infinity Escape. Arrive 15 min early.
- 8:45 PM — Post-game drink at Bootlegger’s Brewery or Heroes Bar & Grill to debrief the puzzles.
- 9:30 PM — Gelato at Gelato Paradiso for the walk back to the car.
Flip it: dinner after the game works too if you want to be hungry-and-accomplished. Ideal date length: 3 hours. No freeway driving between any of these stops.
Anniversary + proposal packages
Anniversary? Mention the date + year count when booking. Proposal? We’ve hosted them. Tell us in advance — we can sequence a custom moment inside The Magic Cottage where the last puzzle’s reveal is a ring. Email info@infinityescape.com at least 2 weeks in advance with details.
What to wear
Whatever you’d wear to dinner. Closed-toe shoes are smart. No need to dress for “escape” — the rooms are clean and comfortable (this isn’t a mud run).
Frequently Asked Questions
Is 2 players enough?
Yes, but it’s harder. Puzzles are designed for 4–6. Two smart, communicative players can do it in the time given (60 min for Zombie Lab, 75 for Magic Cottage) with occasional hints from our game master. Great if you want a challenge.
What if we can’t figure it out?
We watch from the control room and offer hints whenever you ask (and sometimes when you don’t). 90% of pairs escape in time.
Can we bring drinks into the room?
No — it’s a functioning set with real props. Grab drinks before or after at the bars nearby.
Best night for a date?
Thursday and Friday nights. Less busy than Saturday, restaurants have open tables, parking is easier.
Do you sell gift cards?
Yes — see gift cards. Popular for Valentine’s Day and anniversaries.
Do you recommend Magic Cottage or Zombie Lab for a first date?
Magic Cottage. Horror on a first date is a bold move; save it for when you know they’re into it.
