Why escape rooms beat the usual team-building options
Traditional team-building events — trust falls, ropes courses, bowling — either feel forced or have zero relevance to how teams actually work together back at the office. An escape room mirrors real work: time pressure, ambiguous information, distributed tasks, and a goal that cannot be reached without collaboration. The people who stepped up, listened, delegated, or froze when it mattered — your team sees it live and then debriefs it over dinner.
What teams learn inside a 60-minute game
- Communication under pressure — the clock reveals who speaks up and who disappears.
- Delegation and trust — no one person can solve every puzzle; splitting the work is the only way.
- Leadership emergence — watch who naturally organizes the group without being assigned.
- Shared memory — teams reference the experience for months. It beats a trust-fall story.
Our two rooms — pick the vibe
The Magic Cottage — a cinematic mystery adventure. Family-friendly, creative, great for mixed teams (interns to execs) and anyone who wants puzzles over scares.
The Zombie Lab — a horror-thriller escape. Teams who want the high-adrenaline version. Recommended for groups who can handle mild jump scares.
Group options
- 6–7 players: One room (Zombie Lab fits up to 7).
- 10–16 players: Both rooms simultaneously (competitive mode — teams race).
- 20+ players: Back-to-back time slots. We’ll block off the venue for your group and sequence rooms so everyone plays. Ask about light catering from Downtown Fullerton restaurants next door.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do we need to do anything to prepare?
Nope. Show up in whatever you’d wear to a restaurant. We’ll brief the team on the first 5 minutes of the room and then let you go.
Can you invoice our company?
Yes. We accept corporate credit cards and can send invoices for approved billing. Let us know when you book.
What if our group has more than 16 people?
We sequence groups through both rooms back-to-back. Larger groups often pair the experience with dinner at one of the Downtown Fullerton restaurants steps away.
Are the rooms scary?
The Magic Cottage is family-friendly. The Zombie Lab is a horror-themed experience with mild jump scares — not recommended for team members who’d rather skip spooky content.
How early should we book?
Weekend evenings book 3–4 weeks out. Weekday afternoons often open up within a week. Holiday season (Oct–Dec) books fastest.
